Updates für COUNTER-STRIKE: SOURCE, TEAM FORTRESS 2, DAY OF DEFEAT: SOURCE und ALIENS vs. PREDATOR
Bei VALVE scheint man wohl in einer gut gekühlten und klimatisierten Atmosphäre zu arbeiten, denn es wurden einge Updates für die Spiele COUNTER-STRIKE: SOURCE, DAY OF DEFEAT: SOURCE, TEAM FORTRESS 2 und ALIENS VS. PREDATOR fertig gestellt.
Bei COUNTER-STRIKE: SOURCE, DAY OF DEFEAT: SOURCE und TEAM FORTRESS 2 wurde an der Engine entsprechende gearbeitet.
TEAM FORTRESS 2 gekommt Zeitgleich ein größeres Update spendiert, welches u.a. 4 neue Maps beinhaltet.
Wie üblich bekommen die Besitzer der Games die Updates per STEAM eingespielt, welche folgendes fixen:
COUNTER-STRIKE: SOURCE; DAY OF DEFEAT: SOURCE und TEAM FORTRESS 2
Engine
- Fixed client crash related flashlight usage.
- Fixed several issues related to alt-tabbing (invisible players, etc).
TEAM FORTRESS 2
- Added The Frontier Justice.
- Added The Wrangler.
- Added The Gunslinger.
- Added The Southern Hospitality.
- Added 35 Engineer achievements.
- Engineers can now pickup & move their buildings.
- Added Engineer main menu music.
- Added 4 new maps:
- Thunder Mountain, a 3 stage Payload map.
- Hightower, a Payload Race map.
- Upward, a Payload map.
- ColdFront, a community built Capture Point map.
- Item tuning:
- The Sandvich now uses a cooldown timer, instead of the health pack recharge mechanic.
- The Gunboats now reduce self-damage by 60% (was 75%)
- The Tribalman's Shiv bleed duration reduced to 6 second (was 8), and its damage penalty increased to 50% (was 35%).
- Added better feedback sound for Pyros on when their flamethrower is doing damage.
- Fixed blood effect on bleeding player.
- Added a glow effect to Payload carts.
- Added Romanian language support.
- Fixed missing class descriptions on the class menu blackboard.
- Fixed a server crash related to carrying buildings.
- Fixed a HUD element issue in DX8.
ALIENS VS. PREDATOR
New Features
- Predator Focus Attack now knocks you down between 9-12m
- Alien Focus Attack damage has been returned to it’s correct values
- The chance to spawn on occupied/blocked friendly spawn points and consequentially knock players out of world is reduced
- Joining a Dedicated server which is running on non-standard ports, leaving and then hosting a player match, will now no longer cause any clients who join the hosted match to lose connection upon starting the game
